Faerie Tales

The stories you’ll find here are my attempts at writing in a traditional faerie tale style. Some of them will take on a modern take or experiment with the style as well.

I’ve always been fascinated with traditional faerie tales, that being pretty much any folklore or story that literally involves faeries. There’s something both quirky and strangely logical about how they work with the faerie’s mischievousness. I think the best example I can give about what I mean is with Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, which whilst not a traditional faerie tale does have that same element of being strange and weird and yet at the same time somehow perfectly natural.
